1 The SAFE® homepage expressly draws the user’s attention to the fact that the user’s information is electronically processed by the SAFE® homepage solely for purposes resulting from the contractual relationship with regard to use of the SAFE® homepage. Data will be disclosed to third parties only as is consistent with the purposes of the agreement.

2 By consenting to these conditions of use, the user simultaneously gives consent to the SAFE® homepage to:

a) collect the user’s personal data and process and use it for the purpose of establishing and implementing the agreement (user data include are personal information such as name and address as well as user data such as password and IP address);

b) make available to registered SAFE mentors the information uploaded and intended for publication by the user. (The information that will be made available will be obvious to the user on registration. The user can at any time change, limit, or even stop access to this information via “My Profile”);

c) collect, process, and use the user’s usage data with the help of cookies (cookies are small text data that are stored on the user’s computer and serve to assign the user a user ID. This makes it possible to greet the user by his/her name as it is stored on; and

d) use the user’s personal information to protect substantial interests in clarifying misuse of the platform of the SAFE® homepage or for the purpose of prosecution beyond the end of the contractual use relationship, and to divulge such data to legal authorities and/or to third parties whose rights have been violated to the extent that actual documentary evidence of such misuse is present, especially in the form of illegal contents.

3. The user may at any time withdraw from the SAFE® homepage his/her consent to the processing of his/her information with future effect (business address: Im Zeitlett 12, 89081 Ulm). The user may use the contact form on the start page of the SAFE® homepage for such withdrawal of consent.
